An den Songaufnahmen wird noch fleißig gearbeitet und auch das

Album Cover nimmt allmählich Gestalt an. Das Coverfoto wurde bereits von Manfred Baumann Anfang September geschossen. Als österreichischer Starfotograf hatte er schon viele internationale Sänger und Schauspieler wie Bruce Willis und Kelly Osbourne vor seiner Linse. Das Ergebnis gibt es am 24. We are still working on the song recordings and also the album cover design is almost finished. The cover photo was taken by Manfred Baumann at the beginning of September. As a famous Austrian star photographer many international actors and singers like Bruce Willis and Kelly Osbourne have posed for his camera. You will be able to hear and see the result on 24th of February at “Local” (Heiligenstädterstraße 31, 1190 Vienna). Looking forward to see you there!

“Patricia Hill” ist der Titel meines Debüt-Albums, dessen Veröffentlichung wir am 24. Februar 2017 mit einer Release-Party im „Local“ feiern werden. Da die Studioaufnahmen noch im Gange sind, konnte das ursprüngliche Datum - der Geburtstag meiner Mutter Marliese (27. November) - aus zeitlichen Gründen leider nicht eingehalten werden. Dennoch möchte ich ihr sehr gerne mein allererstes Album widmen. Ohne ihren Glauben an mich und ihre Unterstützung meinen Traum als Sängerin zu verwirklichen, wäre ich nie so weit gekommen – dafür bin ich ihr sehr dankbar.

Debut- album release

“Patricia Hill” is the title of my debut album, which I’m looking forward to publish on 24th of February next year. Its release will be celebrated at “Local”. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to release it as planed on the birthday of my mother Marliese (27th of November), because the recordings will be still in progress at that time. Anyway I would like to dedicate my first album to her. Without her believe in me and her support to make my dream as a singer come true, I wouldn’t be, where I’m standing today – I’m very thankful for that. Click here for more information: Event-Link

Wie es der Zufall wollte, habe ich nicht nur mein Rockband-Dasein 2014 hinter mir gelassen, sondern auch mit Wolfgang Bayer einen äußerst talentierten Komponisten und Pianisten kennengelernt. Er hat gemeinsam mit Songwriter Emad Sayyah, die fünf Pop-Songs des EP-Albums komponiert und arrangiert. Songs, die mir auf Anhieb ins Ohr gingen und mit denen ich mich inhaltlich sehr gut identifizieren kann. Auch meine neuen Mitmusiker, Michael Pawlowitsch (Schlagzeug), Tom Niesner (Bass), Ari Tiihonen (Percussion) und Wolfgang Bayer (Keyboard), lassen mein Sänger-Herz höher schlagen. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, dass alles fertig wird und ich meine erste CD in Händen halte. Bin gespannt was die Zukunft bringt!

To go for one’s dreams

As chance would have it, I quit my rock band back in 2014 and shortly afterwards I met Wolfgang Bayer, a very talented composer and piano player. He wrote and arranged the 5 songs of the EP, together with songwriter Emad Sayyah. I liked those pop-tunes from the very beginning and I could also very much identify myself contently. I also appreciate my new band, Michael Pawlowitsch (drums), Tom Niesner (bass), Ari Tiihonen (percussion) and Wolfgang Bayer (keyboard). They really let my singer-heart beat faster. I can’t wait to hold the CD in my hands and I’m totally excited about the future!

Einer der vielen Höhepunkte im Jahr 2015 war mein Auftritt in der Eurovision Songcontest VIP-Lounge, bei dem ich zum ersten Mal als „Patricia Hill“ vor über viertausend Songcontest-Fans aus aller Welt singen und mit „Conchita Wurst“ und vielen anderen Gewinnern die Bühne teilten durfte. Ein weiteres Highlight waren zwei Auftritte in der Wiener Stadthalle beim größten Jugend Basketball-Turnier Europas und der Austrian College Basketball League, wo ich meinen Song „Strong like a hero“ live präsentieren konnte - eine große Ehre für mich und definitiv ein Erlebnis. Der schönste Moment, den ich heuer gemeinsam mit meiner Band erleben durfte, war unser Auftritt am Wiener Donauinselfest 2016. Ein Live-Video ist derzeit in Bearbeitung und wird voraussichtlich Ende August veröffentlicht.

Eurovision, Wiener Stadthalle and Donauinselfest - Review

One of best things that happened back in 2015 was my appearance at the Eurovision Songcontest VIP-Lounge, where I performed for the very first time as “Patricia Hill” in front of over four thousand Songcontest fans from all over the world. I also shared the stage with former winners, such as “Conchita Wurst” and many more. Another highlight was Europe’s biggest Juvenile Basketball Tournament, as well as the Austrian College Basketball League - Grand Finale at the Wiener Stadthalle. Both times, I performed my song “Strong like a hero” for the first time ever – a big honor for me and an awesome experience. The best show however, I had this summer together with my band at the Wiener Donauinselfest 2016. The live video of the show is still in progress and will be published at the end of August.
